Pediatrics
The pediatrician intervenes in two instances:
- Patients being treated at the Rehabilitation Center: either in their acute stage or in their rehabilitation stage, and who also present some pathology that requires treatment and control (acute respiratory, digestive, infectious diseases, etc).
- Pre-surgical evaluation: All patients who are going to undergo outpatient surgery at the Rehabilitation Center must be evaluated to determine if they are in optimum health conditions for general anesthesia and surgery, when the pediatric pass for surgery is given.
